USF Housing Renders

Recreating Spaces
You can tell someone what a space looks like...or you can let them experience it.
These housing visuals were built to do the latter.
The Role
Within a larger USF housing role, my focus in this project was on creating 3D room renderings that would give prospective students a realistic sense of what living on campus actually feels like.
No abstract layouts, no generic mockups, but spaces that feel like the real thing.
The Approach
Using Neo Foyr, each room was designed with intention:
Accurate layouts based on real housing configurations
Material choices that reflect actual finishes
Lighting that mimics lived-in environments
Styling that feels personal, not staged
Integration
These visuals were placed throughout the housing magazine, working alongside layout and messaging to guide readers through different living options. They act as anchors, pulling people into the content and keeping them engaged.
The Takeaway
The magazine reached approximately 19,000 admitted students and drove measurable engagement through QR interactions:
243 tracked sessions
1.28% response rate
94 seconds average engagement time
2,184 total interactions
9 actions per visitor
This wasn’t passive browsing. Users who engaged were actively exploring housing options- presented through the renders I built- moving through multiple touchpoints and spending meaningful time with the content.
